4th Piloting Trans-border Committee (PTC) Meeting of the project: “IntActPlan”
The 4th PTC meeting of the project: “IntActPlan: INTegrated ACTion PLAN to strengthening the outward-looking of SMEs in the border region and creating opportunities to penetrate New Markets”, implemented in the frame of the IPA Cross – Border Programme «GREECE – ALBANIA 2007 – 2013», will take place in Igoumenitsa (Greece), in the morning of the 14th of February 2014.
The IntActPlan project (budget: 211.186,50€) is co-funded by the European Union (75%-109.819,13€/Greek Partners – 85%-55.046,85€/Albanian partner) and by National Funds of Greece (25%-36.606,37€) & Albania (15%-9.714,15€).
The project’s partners are: the Chamber of Thesprotia (Lead Partner), the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Vlore District and the EU Business Innovation Centre of Epirus.
The project aims to the integrated approach of the competitiveness and the territorial cohesion in the frame of a new internationalization strategy of the SMEs of the cross-border Greek-Albanian area. The following actions constitute the core of IntActPlan:
- Development tools for the enhancement of the outward-looking of SMEs (Business Plan on the growth of the outward-looking of SMEs, etc.).
- Targeted Business Seminars.
- Specific Business Events (Business Missions, Exhibition Participations, Workshops).
- Information & mobilization actions & events to ensure maximum possible participation of stakeholders.
In the meeting will be participating the project partners’ representatives in PTC, who will discuss the progress of the project implementation, management and financial issues and will put the objectives for the project next final actions.

In the context of project development: IntActPlan “integrated action plan to increase the activity of SMEs in cross-border areas and to create opportunities to penetrate new markets” as part of the IPA cross-border program Greece – Albania 2007 -2013 “.
Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vlora Region, 3 themed organizes business seminars, developing one of the main goals of the project IntActPlan, which is as precise information on where the sector is focused IntActplan.
During this seminar will be a brief presentation of the project and the participants in the seminar business will have the opportunity to be informed on these three topics:
1. Social media
2.Marketing and export
3.Legjistatura customs for import-export
In these business seminars will take part, the fruit growing business sector, fishing and fish farming, as well as the exports sector businesses in various fields, exports for medicinal plants, exports for building materials, exports etc. artworks hand.

Promote entrepreneurship will take place in Brussels (Belgium), – The 21st edition of the European Seafood Exposition (ESE) and 15th edition of Seafood Processing Europe (SPE) will be held at the BRUSSELS EXPO in Brussels, Belgium from Tuesday 23 to Thursday 25 April 2013. This global annual event attracts over 25,000 seafood buyers and sellers from around the world and hosts the prestigious Seafood Prix d’Elite New Products Competition. Aquaculture ESE Expo.
In continuance of our collaboration with overall lead partner during implementing the project, the preliminary decision for the determination of the main sectors to be promoted through the project activities of INTACTPLAN, targeted countries, recorded actions and selected extroverted enterprises in cross-border area, having formed a basic image, the final shape of our actions are as follows:
Sectors: A) Fish
B) Agri-food products (citrus, olives)
Countries Objectives: B2B meetings and exhibitions.
The immediate goal is our participation in the annual exhibition on Aquaculture ESE Expo in Brussels on 23-25 April 2013. The rest of the countries will be finalized in the next period.
Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Vlore, as Albanian lead partners should take part on this business mission with a delegation of 4 persons participation on this mission.
In this business mission will take part the project’s partners, Chamber of Thesprotia (Lead Partner), the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Vlore District.
By this business mission aims to promote, businesses and enterprising fish cultivation of cross border area (Thesprotia & Vlora District) in a wider space, as well as finding new markets.
